Three Boxes Checked Off

Greetings:

Our bylaws state that we have three (3) main functions as a club--

1) Special Event Stations, as a service to our priests and fellow Knights;

2) Disaster Relief;

3) Training.

Since our inception, we have been operating periodic Special Event Stations. Our latest one was last month, in celebration of Pope Leo XIV. The first box was checked long ago.

We are currently finding funding to purchase a communications vehicle to respond to natural disasters. It is a process, but we will succeed. The second box is checked.

Bob, K20FC, will be offering free training to those who wish to become Amateur Radio Operators. The class will begin on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, and will continue throughout June and July. Our third box is checked.

Our club is not quite two years old. We are small. People have lives. Yet, here we are, making a mark--a small one, but a mark nonetheless--in the Amateur Radio community. We just surpassed 900 unique individual views on our webpage. Yay1
