Solar Storms Go Away, (Don't) Come Again Some Other Day!

Writer's picture: Thomas M PerrottiThomas M Perrotti

It appears that the solar garbage we have had for the past week and a half has gone away, just in time for the last few days of our SES. I know that everybody has worked hard, trying to pull in the weak signals amongst all of the solar activity, and its hasn't been easy.

The New Jersey State Council Knights of Columbus 128th Convention is just a few days away. We will be set up to the right of the Convention Center, with our K0C banner on full display. Inside the Convention Center, we will have our display board with the QSL cards received from last year's SES.

I was on 20m tonight for almost 3-1/2 hours straight. I has some interesting QSOs, and made 79 contacts. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

Thank you all who contributed to the Second Annual K0C SES for the New Jersey Knights of Columbus. Hopefully we can do this every year.

Vivat Jesus and 73,

Tom
